Vlog 9: How We Run a Handmade Jewelry Shop From Our RV
We roll into Encore Forest Lake Village in Zephyrhills, FL, then take you behind the scenes of packing and shipping a handmade jewelry order from the road.
another move day. we packed up from Thousand Trails Orlando and rolled into Encore Forest Lake Village in Zephyrhills — a new spot, new neighbors, new view out the window.
but the real focus of this one is behind the scenes of the jewelry side of things.
people ask sometimes — how do you run a shop while you’re moving around? and the honest answer is: carefully, and with a lot of bubble wrap.
someone placed an order on same old samsara and we filmed the whole process. finding the piece, wrapping it, writing the note, boxing it up, figuring out where the nearest post office is in a town we’ve never been to. it’s not glamorous. it’s also kind of everything.
this is the part of nomadic life that doesn’t get talked about enough — that you can build something real from a rolling home. a small business. a craft. a reason to stop somewhere long enough to find the post office.
every order that goes out is someone choosing to wear something handmade, shipped from the road, by someone who made it while parked somewhere beautiful.
that doesn’t get old. 📦✨
