Vlog 5: We Finally Made It to Florida (And Slept On a Farm)
After days of driving east, we crossed into Florida and somehow ended up sleeping on a farm in the Panhandle.
florida.
we’ve been pointing the truck at this state for five days and we finally crossed the line. the panhandle doesn’t look like what most people picture when they think florida — it’s piney and quiet and a little wild. which is exactly why we like it.
we stayed at Campos Family Farm in Ponce De Leon. dry camping on an actual working farm. morning walk, the kind that clears your head. chickens doing chicken things. a sunset that felt like the state was welcoming us in.
there’s something about arriving somewhere you’ve been working toward. we’ve done this drive from Texas before — we’ve lived this life for two years — but doing it on camera, watching the landscape shift state by state, it hits different when you’re paying attention.
the farm stay was a reminder of why we want land someday. something rooted. something you can grow things in.
but for now, the wheels keep turning. 🌅
